News about the Iowa Arts Gallery.

Things are coming along in what is perhaps one of the biggest challenges I've had the opportunity to be a part of; I find myself learning new things all the time.

Our Sargent exhibit is in progress, a little behind schedule, in part because of the challenges of setting up a website in a way that is completely different than I've done before as we will have a great amount of user interaction, and of course the special feature of our virutal exhibit space. I'm personally programming these features, as well as keeping up with my day job.

Security is a big issue as you can imagine. And so this is something that I'd like to get right the first time because of that. But the most important thing for me is to create something special in terms of substantive content that can make a meaningful contribution to the arts.

We have organized a board of directors, completed our paperwork as a nonprofit organization, and now we just have to get all the pieces together.
