Creation in Three Parts
106in x 84in
Wood, Metal, Glass, LED lighting

I wrote this poem to go along with it:

Human

The telescope, the microscope
Colliding particles
Machines of exploration see
Stardust and light.

The wheel and lever work
The sinus rhythms
Of pump and pressure.
And, the gentle crush of gravity
Working the endless expanse
of time and space to the window
That we open for our pleasure
In the golden hour and the
Times of the evening breezes.

Our wonder and ecstasy, sublimely
Held tenuously in memory
Refreshed in fleeting moments.

The seductive opposition of light and dark,
Large and small feeding and dying.
Expanding and changing with pockmarked
Scars the evidence of living that is sealed
Within our sight and hearing.
Unveiled in manifold, audacious, curiosity
Flying to and fro and up and down
The ceaseless tide of Intelligence.
