Dick Shook designs buildings and works closely with architects and engineers and contractors throughout the process of construction, from design to completion, initially, by developing concepts and designs that architects and engineers can reference in their work. While we make use of extensive computer models and drafting to communicate our designs, we contract and integrate our initial design efforts with licensed building professionals such as architects and engineers.

An architect is a licensed building professional whose services are often required, particularly in the case of commercial and other public buildings, by law to protect the health and safety of the public. Dick Shook will represent our clients to facilitate the implimentation of our design intentions and expectations by consulting with and working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the construction process.
 
Our work can save our clients money by reducing or eliminating the concept design component of the architect's and engineer's fees, focusing their efforts on the "how" of the building process, while we provide design solutions. Then, during construction we consult with and represent our clients to monitor construction activity, working to assure that projects are completed on schedule and on budget.
