There are times when painting is a lot like wrestling. In this case the intertwining of figures makes that a more accurate analogy. Not my first time, as you can see from a 2008 painting of the Ballard High School State wrestling champs, Brock and Trent Weatherman.

The fellow behind the blue swimsuit is doing a cannon ball (or will be when I get him properly positioned).

I was grateful that a painting of Shannon was accepted into the Octagon juried show, "Community of Artists" that will be on display August 23 to Oct. 22, 2013. Opening reception will be at the Octagon on August 23rd. .
