It's taken me awhile to come around, but I began to realize that I couldn't "see" the urban concept in a basketball court because here in Iowa our spaces are wide open even when there are buildings all around.

I was stuck on the idea though, determined I could make that work. But the more I tried, the less I could grasp the particulars, even when I made a simple computer model of the basketball court. Whatever I was conceiving the image to be, it was always somewhere other than Iowa.

I placed the backboard in the center to bring viewers into a game. Shortly, the figures will be placed. (I'm arranging a mock basketball game with a couple of people who actually know how to play.)
